Anybody know why Gorsey Lane was closed at about 2 this morning. The road was blocked off from the tunnel end with quite a lot of police and an ambulance

It was bad last night (22:30 maybe) when we came back from Liverpool as a car had broken down just before the lights at the bottom of Gorsey Lane.
The motorway was coned off so everyone had to come up the slip and find an alternative route.
Doesn't really account for the emergency services being there at that time though
