SRT - Single Rope Technique. Abseiling and/or ascending a single rope. Used by climbers, cavers and mine explorers. Some of the best fun you can have (with your clothes on !)

Now that's useful - whenever we have abseils, I get to climb the stairs inside on escort duty, and come down the same way.
