Love to see that the Olympic Legacy is reaching Wirral with the proposal to reduce hours the pools are open Guinea Gap and Europa Pools.

The gym at New Brighton never materialized and it is now a Kids Centre - absolute waste of money. Hope wirral waters will have some decent facilities.

to be fair, that "gym at new brighton" you speak of, was ALWAYS going to be a lido/kids water play area/small swimming pool (privately owned) but the initial plans fell through, then a gym (among other ideas) was spoke of, and now another company has come in and reverted back to the original plans of a kids water play thing...
