It is a hoax, but it will be closer to Earth this year....

On October 30th at 3:19am (Universal Time), Mars will be only 69 million kilometers from Earth.

To the naked eye, Mars will look like a bright red star, a pinprick of light, but certainly not as wide as the full Moon.
