Post your before and after Photoshoped cars below.

Photoshop is a editing program for manipulating images..

You dont have to use photoshop there are many other programs which are suitable...

Thanks to Mullen for the idea for this Topic.
Now we can see them all in one place..

These MUST be your own editing work,
Cars Only other posts will be deleted.

Spot the difference from the above and the below

Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 2nd Apr 2004 4:47pm
Anyone wants any photochopping done to their motor, send us a decent pic of it, and a similar angle pic of the body kit you want on it.

Bearing in mind the above took me 2 mins to do, in work!

Smothing stuff e.g 5 doors into 2 is really easy, making wheels looking as tho they are moving is pretty easy to.

Can anyone try some of these mods on my car??

Flush tailgate
Debadged

Wasnt quite sure what "smooth swage line" meant.

Would be good, if you got some good quality photos to edit. Would be able to notice the mods a bit more clearly.

Do that, looks real sleek mate. I dunno how you'd get the indicators like that legally though. And just get some plastic covers for the fogs, or fit P1 fogs :???:
Posted By: Scooby Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 13th Apr 2004 7:46am
The indercators are fitted below the headlamp's. The lamps at the side of my headlights are my old sidelamp lenses but the sidelamps are wired up to the halo's now therefore i do not need the sidelamps any more.

Perfectly legal to paint them then <img border="0" alt="[cwcool]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions049.gif" />

I am guessing you digitally modded the pics at their current size, next time take a photo on the best quality on your digi cam and give it another go, you may be suprised on how much better your outcome will be.

Problem is I only have access to a 1.3mp camera so quality is restricted to that.

I usually just take a quick snap with my phone and have a play about with that, after all its not meant to be a professional job or a competition entry, its just somethin to keep me busy for an hour.

Firstly you need to buy/acquire a copy of some graphics editing software.

Photoshop 6 would be ideal, when you have got some software i will be glad to give you some tips.

You are probably better with Photoshop mate, paintshop pro is quite basic and wouldn't achieve quite similar quality pics.

The best way to learn a program is to mess with it. Open it and see what stuff does.

There is plenty of good tutorials on the net to get you started
Posted By: Anonymous Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 23rd Dec 2004 9:34am
This is soooooooo complecated !
Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 23rd Dec 2004 11:05am
Download the tryout of the latest version.

http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jsp#product=39

You may be able to get a copy from people on filesharing, but i would advise against it, as it isn't exactly legal.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 23rd Dec 2004 11:18am
Which 1 do i choose ?? Iv i got to register ?
Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 23rd Dec 2004 11:21am
Download Adobe Photoshop CS tryout.

Yes you need to register, it shouldn't take long.

If you want the full version you will either need to buy it or maybe lend it of a mate

Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 23rd Dec 2004 11:47am

I have done a few in the past, there is a pink civic coupe on this topic somewhere with a bumper swap.

to do a bumper swap you just gotta find one that sort of fits and use the lasso tool to cut round it and paste it onto the pic your moding and just play around with it.

what pic do you want me to have a go at making white, add me to msn thats_sum_gud_s**[email protected] and ill sort ya out with some tips hehe

thats not much at all that hun but i cant do it till thurday at the very earliest(am talkin next week) i had a bash just now but its ruff round the edges and the tailgate needs doin this, also done the side reps and smoothed bumpers in,removed foggy at back too.Show u soon, am off to tent city
Posted By: rossi-foci Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 26th Jan 2005 10:16pm
try lookin on fiesta owners sites vicky.
av seen a smoothed mk6 on one, looked quite nice but dunno if it suits the sorta style of em..
you can buy the aluminium mesh as an extra but its vexpensive! think its bout 120 in max power too, somethin extortionate but does look better!
try PMing MK6PAUL, he does check his pms (Sometimes!) but hes got a modded mk6 and is on all the owners sites and that.
if u do get one, whatever you do dont make it look nefin like the kitted ones you buy from ford! lol! i think ther the most un-unique cars on the road now tease hehe. gud luck tho, bit of photoshoppin may open the door! happy
Posted By: Anonymous Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 26th Jan 2005 10:33pm
yeh thanks scoop! smile would love to see what it looks like,
rossi, i knw what you mean about the kitted fiestas now! they look the same. i would want mine all smooth and subtle smile

I will have a go later for you, if i get time, shouldn't be to difficult
Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 27th Jan 2005 11:37am
My effort.

The boot was a little difficult to work with

[Linked Image]
Posted By: rossi-foci Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 27th Jan 2005 12:20pm
i personally dont think this type pf euro styling suits this mk fiesta. it looks quality on the mk3/4 like adams but on the newer ones the lines are too sharp to get away with the smooth look

its hard 2 tell from that pic tho wif rims and on the deck etc it wud prob look v.nice and no doubt unique.

thats jus my opinion anyway, that photshop pic is quality but form a distance makes it look a little like a van
Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 27th Jan 2005 12:22pm
I will put some wheels on it in a bit tease

The problem with this photo is that it is like an artist photograph, so the lighting is un-natuaral leaving it looking unrealistic.
Posted By: rossi-foci Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 27th Jan 2005 12:27pm
yeah i think thats probably wat it is you know ax. it looks like the sorta shots u see transit vans from and is unrealistic. still the smooth look wud have to be done well 2 get away with it i reckon smile

AX wot about the doorhandles? i only here for 1 bit and i cant spend the time choppin but its only the boot im having problems with! ill sort it soon vick i promise, nice and bling! plus those sorta pics are THE best choppin pics ever cos u dont have to worry about reflections, smoothing on a reflective surface is a ba**ard. I done my bros old corsa and had to add reflections cos the sun was so bright u cud see the whole street on his boot. that was one class chop

Waddi, I think the spokes on those alloys are too thin, they need to be thicker to suit your car, also I think 16s or 17s are a must! The tints n stuff look great, really unique. If you can do them then get them done! happy

Round of applause for the AX man. That is sweet mate.I really need to learn how to do bumperswaps. Can i have a link for the pic u got the bumper from so i can try that same swap.Looks pretty straight forward, especially as ive just learnt a new skill which shud help
Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 14th Feb 2005 4:48pm
tricky one, you have got to make the whole car desaturated and the bumper desaturates, make the brightness and contrast on them both to be exactly the same so you can't tell where the new bumper starts then colour the car with a tint of blue to get it back.

Tip: Make the car darker (by about 20) and the bumper lighter for best results.

The most difficult bit of digitally modifying cars is finding a decent pic of a donor car.

Photoshop is easy to pick up, maybe i should give some lessons on my laptop at a meet? tease

Hey you stole a couple of my ideas lol.

Nice chop, found this car difficult at first, but is coming together really nice.

How do you judge the winner?

The car that looks the most realistic, mad or kitted up?

Most of the mods on mine, although look realistic and are a big difference might not make you think, isn't this car amazing.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 23rd Mar 2005 2:02pm
why not start a poll up and people can vote for the best??
Posted By: AX_125 Re: PHOTOSHOP CARS - 23rd Mar 2005 3:48pm
Yeah good point, maybe all the pictures should be uploaded anonymously so no-one knows the creator of each chop.

i have finished the majority of mine now.

One of my best efforts to date.
