i want to buy a tablet mainly for taking on trips/hols but thought id ask some advice first, my first option was this because of its good battery..

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3259944.htm

then i found Archos that takes a sim card (could be handy if limited wi-fi available)and both good prices

i would mainly be using it for simple games and social media and maps and i google chrome for browsing TIA

Based on your choices,as the price reflects really The YOGA has better speck and a nice higher definition IPS screen aswell as some good reviews were as the Archos`has mixed mainly at the lower end of the scale,as for reliability .. I couldn`t say.
I bought a huddle which was great for a few months but then just stopped working, after they repaired it,it came back and just wouldn`t charge up, they gave me my money back.

Your better off tethering your phone to the tablet, the beauty of that is you can position your phone to receive a better data connection, yet you will have a strong wifi connection to your phone.

Those prices are really good, however you may find the overall experience a bit laggy. Thats my thoughts, only because i find the cheaper tablets struggle to be smooth in performance.

The reviews seem to be kind.
Look for the same product on Amazon i like there reviews.

Visit Pc world, try it out.
Its such a competitive price, i wonder if it feels cheap to hold or work with. It may not be as bright the display as you expect.

If your unsure definitely visit the store and have a go.

plan on going tomoz, are you saying the lenovo is a good price or the archos?

O i see, they are both 3G.
Personally as i say just tether your phone to a tablet.
Then your not paying out twice for data with 2 sims.

A quick google, these tablets are all pretty cheap now.

I would say bucks for money this one from those 2 http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/compu...3g-tablet-16-gb-silver-10138964-pdt.html

The extra memory, and larger screen are my reasons why, but you could save more money None 3G,but thats if you can tether with your mobile provider.

Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2.8 Inch 16GB tablet

Is running KitKat, it should be on lollypop at least.

Im too tired to think now, thats what i can tell you for now, but you should be able to get a branded tablet for £99 ish as a guide. Sorry my eyes are closing. .

The cheap little tablets you can pick up on Ebay can be fine but........................... install AV as soon as you receive as they can have spyware on - personal experience. I'm fairly savvy but this wouldn't let me remove it no matter what I did. Having Googled it it is a fairly common occurrence and the seller did let me return for a full refund after not too much hassle.

I did buy another one another time and have had no issues with that.
