anyone any ideas please, last night while using it as a dongle to get the net on my tablet as I do often the phone became very hot, something it has not done before also noticed the battery was running down very quickly. I am only using it for the likes of Wiki, not trying to download anything. Thanks in advance Dilly.

iPhone 4 has been around for a while now, so it could be that the battery is reaching the end of its life.

Replacement is fairly simple if you have the right screwdrivers.

Don't use copy batteries, completely useless after a few months.

Thanks Dr, what would this cost for you to do it. Its on contract but getting an appointment with the apple shop is nigh on impossible. Cheers.
