Willo even your home connection can be targeted with a Denial of Service attack. It just depends how quickly its detected and resolved to have an impact on any services.

For a premium service you have to pay a premium price.
Its not good that the customer service is non existent but your a number.

Many folks get mixed up as i did in the beginning what a hosting provider can help you with. In the end its not much. They provide you the space, and inform you of what versions of software they use and its up to you to work out if its compatible or not.

You stay in house with there software it may not do what you want to do. You want to move, ok but does your next provider support the software you want to run.

I'm limited to the version of MSQL with wikiwirral and others that may not be apparent on the surface but its a mind field. I know the software your running and your on a steep learning curve , dont dump what you have until your sure you are 100% compatible and you can move the software your using with the domain with out any problems.

You may move hosting but they may hold your domain name.
I couldn't find anyone out there to do what i needed and done it on my own.

If you want to talk about web hosting then give me a call i may be able to help. It depends what your needs are.
