I have another laptop for office based stuff. I have transferred stuff over from my personal laptop (documents etc) but I need to connect to the internet in order to download email attachments etc...

I thought I could just stick my own dongle in and away I go.... but NO, Nothing is ever easy!!!!!

It seems that BT Openzone ? is the default setting for connection and this over-rides my dongle, thus 'confusing' the laptop.

How do i get rid of the stupid BT Openzone?? Climbing the walls here.lol

Just turn the wifi off on the laptop and it will not look for connections wirelessly.

A Switch or a Fn Key normally does it.
