How much and how long does it take to unlock a Samsung Galaxy S2, currently locked to T-mobile.

The play store has SIM unlockers for the S2, only a couple of quid (or free if you know where else to look and want to 'try before you buy')

IIRC it may need rooting first. I have done 2, but it was a while ago.

Are you still in contract as it can take a few weeks to come through. And you may have to pay.

Some operators let you unlock your phone early, may be worth a call.
