Hi, i have a 47 inch lcd philips tv its about 5 years old., having a couple of problems with it i.e. When i turn it on there are lines that run down screen which lasts for a few mins and now i can see a few flickering white small lines on the screen. Does anyone know what this could be and is it worth gettin fixed?

that sounds like it is well on the way out .are you looking for a replacement tv tv .

I think i will have to think about gettin a replacement as this isn't going to get any better.
