Hi all

i have an external hard drive which has come up corrupt or unreadable thanks
to windows shutting my computer down for updates. ive read it can be recovered. can anyone tell me how or have some software i could buy or lend?

Bring it into my place (see profile for address) and should be able to sort it for you.

Don't use the drive or try and save anything to it until you've recovered what's on there.

As above.
Dont use the drive as it can further corrupt the data you wish to recover.

If you dont have any data you wish to recover then you can try a scan disk.
