For some reason, they released all the network releases first then the sim free ones.

Could you tell me when you add item to calendar on jelly bean, does it give you the option to set set a repeat for every fortnight.

I know the S3 and S4 do not every option there but fortnight.

Benefits of the nexus line. I got it the day it was released. Great operating system.

Settings, about phone, software update, kies is rubbish.

Or
Start kies, click on tools, firmware initialisation, enter details it asks for, this will put original firmware back on your phone, and update it to jellybean after its finished.

BACK UP ALL YOUR CONTACTS ETC ETC FIRST

If he is still on ice cream sandwich, I don't think that option is there for updates.

Am I right in saying your phone is Orange branded.
Orange have not released Jelly Bean yet, and 02 have not released it yet.

What happens when you connect your phone to kies and click on firmware upgrade.

Try right clicking on kies shortcut and run as admin, failing that, reinstall latest version from samsung site

Got JellyBean on Friday been waiting for it for months,

On 02 and have the Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000

I'm disappointed with the performance of the phone since upgrading but this could be just down to the fact I've never blanked the phone since I got it about a year ago, other than that I really like the look of it.

SilentReader, don't take this the wrong way but I'm glad I'm not the only one!! I have always loved my galaxy note and since it updated I have been so disappointed, it's really slow and sluggish now. I have looked online and it's quite common, but just on the note. There are apparantly ways of speeding things up, which I have done but nothing has changed. I'm not at all technical either so that doesn't really help. Have you noticed your battery draining much faster now too?

if when you plug it in to kies, it says there is a firmware update, then you should be able to get it, try uninstalling kies, and run cc cleaner, and run it on registry as well, reboot pc, and down load latest version of kies from samsung site.

ok will give it a go
Posted By: Finney Re: Android Jelly Bean - 15th May 2013 2:06pm
Burger, tried that still not working. Not to worry will wait till T-Mobile release jelly bean then try again, failing that will wait till my contract is due for renewal.
