I looking to borrow a 2.5" SATA hard drive caddy to try a retrieve some data of my nephews laptop hard drive, we aren't sure if the drive has collapsed so don't want to buy a caddy just incase.
I happy to leave a deposit for the cost of the caddy until returned safely if anyone could help I would be most grateful.

If you can get it to spin up normally a good sign.
Trick i have taken advantage of in the past is to put it in the fridge, runs for a while before failing, long enough to get data off a drive.
Based in Wallasey Village. PM if you want it.
