My brother had recently changed his contract on his iPhone 4.
They told him that on the day changes would come into effect, he would lose his 3G network. They told him how to reset it to get it to work again, but he's a pleb and has forgotten!!

Any ideas?

edit: how would he lose his 3g network???? iphone4 uses 3g...

Sorry, what I meant is that he can call and text but not use Internet. He's tried that, but it's still not working!!

the other thing i can suggest is an iOs upgrade via itunes

Normally you send a text to the new operator, they send the settings via a special text. You are given the option to save it which updates your internet settings.

Restart the phone job done.

My bro rang his service provider, and it turns out the guy had switched him to a non-iPhone contract!!
