Iphone 6 - 12th Dec 2012 9:01pm
Up to date recent rumours and info about the Apple iPhone 6.
Will it be called the iPhone 6?
Apple are already beginning to phase out the numerals after their iPad and iMac ranges so this new iPhone might be the first handset to make the break. Especially as the next iPhone would actually be the seventh version.
Will the iPhone 6 have a bigger screen?
Even though the iPhone 5 increased the size of the screen, iPhones still have smaller screens than the average premium smartphone. Maybe it's time for another increase?
iPhone 6 Design
iPhone 5 didn't mark a huge departure from the stylings of the 4 and 4S, despite being made of new materials. Even though it was taller and thinner, it followed the same kind of design language. The iPhone 6 could shake that up.
iOS
iOS has been around in the same basic format for a while now. Maybe it will include live tiles, an updated homescreen, new touch controls and tweaks to make it run on a faster quad-core processor.
NFC
iPhone 5 conspiculously omitted Near Field Communications (NFC) payment technology. Many other handsets include this and by the time the iPhone 6 comes out it will most likely be an industry standard.
