It's used all the time, you don't get charged a percentage on the postal charge, so they'll sell at a penny, charge £9.99 postage and pay minimal fees.

eBay don't allow it and pull auctions that try to circumvent their fees.

that's outrageous, and it has a bid on it, don't think the unlucky bidder has checked the postage costs lol

just looked at full page, the postage in big red letters was not added until four days after the silly sod(sorry bidder) bid on the item. theyv'e changed the postage 3 times(you can check it out by clicking on the 1 bid) that's very naughty!!!

Ebay sellers can't change anything about their auction after the first bid has been placed.

The only alterations that can be seen by clicking on the one bid, are bid retractions. Two different people have retracted their bids citing they "entered wrong amount" as the reason.

Maybe they bid before they saw the postage costs! omg LOL!

I can understand why though I paid 75 quid to sell my iMac. It's ridiculous.
