Hi just wondering if anyone knows if i can use a satellite dish for a sky box to hook up to a freesat box and if they will be able to hook me up. willing to pay small fee or normal cost if it's not too much. thanks in advance Faye

Yes you can use normal sat dish for freesat

I mean using the dish for both. sky downstairs and hopefully freesat upstairs

All depends on how many outputs your lnb on end of your dish has.
Why not just buy this http://www.amazon.co.uk/SLx-Magic-E..._1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339499735&sr=8-1 you can then have your sky upstairs aswell as downstairs, but you will have to watch upstairs what ever is on sky downstairs, and vice versa

No i don't want that, but thanks anyway. i want separate tv as i watch different programs to my mum and i have a freesat box just need to see if i can use the dish also.

As willo says it depends on if you have an output upstairs to the satelite dish.
