Android is a Mobile o/s for mobile devices. It's good in that it's OSS so it's constantly being improved and updated and there's constantly new softs for it. However the version you've got (2.3) is definitely seeing it's age now.

You can't change it to mobile Windows yet since it's a fairly new release and with it being a budget tablet there's no flurry of hackers attempting to break it so Windows can be installed.

You probably couldn't run office even if you could put windows on it. It's a budget tablet with only 512mb RAM and a single core processor, it wouldn't run much of anything once you consider how much RAM windows would eat just to run. Though there will be Android equivalent software if you care to check the appstore.

you carnt realy upgrade them apart from putting a bigger sd card in them, but if you rearly want to run windows you will soon be able to use onlive desktop, ( http://desktop.onlive.com/ )it will soon be coming to android tablets it work rearly well on the ipad and it looks just as good on android ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=moswP0GVmM0#! )

Memory should be upgradable to 4gb. Wouldn't be worth the cost though, you'd get throttled with a single core processor.

It has an ARM A8 based processor, so Windows won't run on it full stop (at least not until Windows 8 is out), regardless of CPU speed and RAM etc...
