Hi has anyone used one of these freeview recorders that you record to SD card or Usb flash drive just wondered if they are any good.

i've got a freeview recorder built into my TV it records onto a USB stick and works in a similar way to sky+

its quite good actually!

got no experience with ones that aren't built-in though sorry

thanks got freeview built into tv but big old digi recorder box at the moment they are on ebay for around £20

I didn't know you could get ones that record to portable media. It sounds like a great idea. I have a 5 year old Humax 9200T and its a fantastic machine but it just records to an internal hard drive. The best £200 I ever spent.

i have a tv with a built in hard drive so i just select what i want to record its brilliant its an lg and i got it a few years ago from t j hughes for £500 quid
