Hi, I've been given a HP S3000 for my Son and the front USB ports are damaged.

Could anyone tell me if they can be replaced as I need to plug in the speakers I bought for it and they need to go in the front USB port and audio jack as far as I can tell.

Also, 2 of the USB ports at the back do not work and the cd/DVD drive isn't recognised

Not having much luck with it at the moment frown

Any help would be great.

Thanks smile

Thanks Willo smile

I did look at that item on eBay but the front USB port on mine is a double one.

Will search through the spares site.

Managed to get the cd drive thingy working woo hoo smile

It looks like only the front usb ports that are damaged were 2.0 so i'm trying to update the ones in the back.

Found out this model is a S3000 but a S3023w series so it has the double front usb port.

try finding the mother board driver it should cure the problems just search your computers name and number and download them straight to your computer usually the computer manufacturers web site will have them
