thanks just found out dvd shrink does not do what i want to do, i want to copy entire dvd to hdd, and want to be able to play it on laptop, with out dvd in.

Hi this is my first post after being a lurker for years.
With dvd shrink save the output as a .iso then download and install virtual clonedrive(freeware) virtual clone then right click on the .iso dvd shrink produced. A context menu opens. Choose „VirtualCloneDrive“. A new menu opens where you either Mount(load dvd) or Unmount(eject dvd) an Image File.
