If you have a Windows Mobile, get in touch with Mr Garmin aka POMP. He has all the kit for Garmins and all the software for Garmin on WinMo. Works a treat for me both in the car (has actually replaced my Garmin i3 GPS system) and on foot. Used it a few times on foot and not really had any problems.

As Steven1972 suggested - have you not got Google maps on your mobile? That does gps and will plan your walking route

No offence softy, but having tried Google Maps a few times (for some reason all builds of Microsoft Windows Mobile seem to ship with it lol) prior to getting POMP to install Garmin on my phone, I can honestly say it is the biggest load of crap ive ever seen for a GPS system - to the point where I actually don't think Google really intend it to be used in such away, the realtime guidance system seems to be a total afterthought, that the Google developers have spent 5 minutes cooking before serving it to the public.

The problem with Ovi maps is it may be free, but I would not want to be trusting it to guide me around Europe, having seen how crap it was when I had the N95; free is very rarely equal or even a close second, to best. in addition to this, it is only available on certain Nokia Smartphones (not all), so unless you are really strange/crazy, or have misguided belief that Symbian is somehow still a decent smartphone OS lol (the world moved on 5 years ago and Nokia are still trying to work out how and where to), it's pretty much useless to most people lol.

Its a lot better than n95 that was years ago! I cant complain at my nokia for £68 quid theres even a cracked tom tom sat nav 4 it tho i aint got a clue wot u do to install it but ovi maps works fine.
