Anyone with an o2 contract phone in the Moreton area having any issues making calls and sending texts??

Ive not been able to for quite some time now, tried phoning the phone from my landline and the line just goes dead.

Got practically unlimited calls, texts and internet, so wont have run out of minutes, have not got a credit limit imposed and never been a penny over me monthly contract anyway, the bill isnt due till the 13th and can't even phone o2 customer services to find out (if it were billing, they would forward you).

Tried the usual fixes, turned off and on, turned off removed simcard, cleaned, left for a minute, then turn back on etc, no joy.

Haha it seems to have been fixed now. Stupid thing was down for about 20 minutes or more.

Everyone on every network and every tarrif is.

Keep trying if you're phoning as it will eventually get through, if not, landlines to mobiles work, but not the other way.

Think everyone is trying to warn people of the traffic

My landline just gives continuous beep tone when I try to ring my mobile Joe. It was easier to make a call on NYE, despite half the networks capacity being reserved for emergency services lol.

My email - texts are still getting through lmao

My guess is it's the network being overloaded with snow calls and possibly masts being covered with snow.

O2 call center have been all sent home for the day too

All seemed to be resolved about 20:00.

Apparentely the heavy snow had caused a few problems with the masts signals. I had probs around 4.30 ish, but if you kept trying you could get thro.

I needed to contact someone urgent - and could not get through on
