ha ha that explains why i could not download the pictures from my fuji. I had to take the memory card out in the end and stick it into the laptop's own card reader. Looks like i am one of the effected

A similar issue can also affect XP, and they yet have to release a fix for that either.

I know from personal experience.

So not all bad for Vista after all...
