It might be exactly what the missus it looking for?

Light, small, wifi, and internet access.

Only problem i can see is a 2.5hr battery but the charger
is supposed to be tiny. Link a mobile phone.

Some one mentions the 4GB version but can not find it?

Looks fine for its purpose, but Linx, a 2GB memory and the crap battery life are questionable?

You could of course throw on Windows 2000 (653MB iirc) but anything like XP will be an impossibility, even with the 4GB model.

As you say, it does what it says on the tin, but you can also get PDA's and phone-PDA's that do all that nowadays, in a friendlier enviroment then Linux and with as much power.

Check out the o2 XDA Exec, they can be had for less than £200 brand new on eBay from reputable sellers!

At this level and for them needs id prefer to go for a PDA rather then a laptop wannabe.

Hehe they take SD's too... I noticed in todays eBuyer offer email that SD's are going for £6 lol.

Thier not perfect, but they run Windows Mobile etc... its probably a hard decision to make between them tbh.

One on eBay at brand new with Tom Tom GPS etc for £199 lol.
