Mines faster then advertised. Lol. But to be fair, thats why they say "upto" 8Mbps, they also clearly state that the speed is dependent upon your line, distance from the exchange etc...

Its just the bloody government wanting to waste money as usual, instead of going after the real criminals in consumer standards; ie TALKTALK lol.

Download any of the large files on there, ive known people to pull 20Mbps from it no problem, it maxes my 8Mbps connection. Give the speed a minute or so to settle and it will give you a good indication of your speed.

The "speed tests" you find online are very rarely accurate, there servers cant usually provde enough bandwidth.

What speed is your connection sposed to be matey?

Sounds pretty good if its 8Mbps.

i get around 200kbps which for 2mbs connection sucks.. VM suck 100%
