Just got given one of these as i was after a Freeview box and i remembered this does the job but whats annoying is that its still got all the old on digital software on it does anyone now on here how to update em or anyway to update it ?? as its annoying with all the old on digital shite!

Nope im not that bothered about it as i was given it im just using it for Sky News as VM suck donkey balls.. Just a nice unit the spitting image of the NTL Pace box i'll have a look thought mark cheers

Afaik though, there isnt any form of EPG update service for ex-ITV Digital/OnDigital boxes, because its summit to do with Canal+ actually own the boxes, although they arranged a deal with ITV when they went bust whereby people could keep the boxes (it would have cost millions to collect them all), and they also own and developed all the software used by ITV, and as ITV no longer pay any development costs, they no longer develop for it.

You have to remember with ITV Digital boxes that they were subsidised, so they were (and still are) quite basic and locked down. The CAM on them is pathetic to tell the truth.

Missed the model, in the title, I dont think there is an update for that model, its a very old one nowadays.
