BT Digital Vault - More BT Shite - 18th Aug 2007 4:21pm
I got a free BT Digital Vault account about a year ago when it first launched, got the 20GB for the first 3 months then it became a 2GB account (the free one is now only 1GB I belive).
Anyway, I havent used it much as I tend to backup my data to my own web servers. But I have used it for ultra sensitive business documents. Handy to keep them on there as its supposed to be secure and reliable, I dont like keeping business documents on a local computer connected to the net for obvious security reasons.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I go onto the vault and there is nothing in it. Contact BT, they dont have a clue whats happened or why the documents are no longer there. And are not going to help me find them.
So im basically fooked. Good job I have them on a local memory card as well.
So dont trust BT Digital Vault, its utter shite and is not reliable in any sense of the word.
