Windows Media Player can rip cd's as MP3 as well as WMA now. Any questions, ask away!
Thanks Matty
Well any idea why my media player wont rip into mp3 format only WMA.
If you mean Windows Media Player, I think only 10 onwards will do MP3, you need to set it up by going into:
- Tools
- Options
- Rip music
Then choose the MP3 format and whichever bit rate you want. If MP3 doesnt show, then try either upgrading media player or re-installing.
You can also rip a WMA to MP3 using a 3rd party utility, I personally use dBpowerAMP for converting audio files.
thats that then,
Just followed your instructions and bingo, mp3 ripping for me from now on.
now go to bed and stop helping me
Sorry for the post hi-jack
Lol will do shortly hehe. I will get Mark to move the posts about the Media Player into a thread of its own in the tech forums, so it wont look like we hijacked the thread lol.
