It's been that long since I used flash that I've forgotten almost everything lol

I'm designing a gallery-like movie which loads external images into the movie, resizes and reshapes them.

I can get it to load the images and resize them, not a problem, but I have no idea how to distort them. i.e. so it looks like the picture is on an angle.

Does anyone know if you can, and if so how you can, skew or distort externally loaded images using the actionscript?

Dunno about flash but you can with image magic

I can do it in flash manually by moving the corners of the image.

But I need it to do it itself for an externally loaded image.
