Perms are already back, or so my hairdressing friends tell me. I have one somewhere of me in 1989/1990 with a cracking perm!

I can remember my Mum getting a perm that would have made Terry and Barry jealous, then she'd put rollers in her hair overnight, with the scarf thing on her head so that the "style" stayed in longer. Always made me wonder why she bothered getting the perm if she wasn't going to have it "au naturel" so to speak.
