Fourth pic down the caption is wrong, its Queensbury Gardens you can see.

I'm not so sure, thought Queensbury were opposite Vittoria Gardens. It looks like Oak and Eldon to me because that pub on the corner is "The Black Fellahs" and also the shape of the flats is different from the Q & V. Willing to be corrected myself of course as I am just working from memory which aint all that red hot.

Roughly what date would the pic be and what date was Queensbury built and knocked down
Looking at map Queensbury or Oak and Eldon could be in the line of sight

Assuming Q&V were at where Wood Close is now, here is Q&V at top (North) of the Picture and Oak&Eldon at the bottom (South)

The picture above looks very much like the Wood Close site

I dont think O+E were as tall as Queensbury Gardens and O+E were knocked down before them.

The picture is of Queensbury Gardens, the structure is totally different to O&E.

The shadow lengths on the above aerial tends to show otherwise, Oak and Eldon seem to be taller.
