Ryans DaviesI remeber where the corn factory was built used to be abaondoned fields surround by the hoading but most of us kids could get in there, There used be a lot of what looked like Black Plastic grenades in that filed (great for playing with) I went to the Dell School. (have a picture somewhere I will post) I remember Cliffs Chippy and the launderette on new chester road, I do remember three children being ran over on the zebra crossing there sadly all died and that's why the bridge went up, i rememberer all the mums blocking the road every night until something was done.
I remember also a large explosion one night when a gas bottle exploded whilst they were building Knowsley court the high rise flats. we lived next door the Thomson family.
