Hi. Does anybody know where I can get hold of the Silver Screens of the Wirral? (Birkenhead and bebington edition). On ebay and amazon they say they have them but when you actually look they are both the Wallasey, South Wirral version.

Thanks in advance

The book is published by Countyvise of Birkenhead, who may still have a copy. Go to their website (www.countyvise.co.uk), phone them, or call and see them at their offices in Appin Road, off Argyle Street South in Birkenhead. You will find them very friendly and helpful.

countyvise.co.uk),
directions if you are going to them
Go up Argyle Street South turn left into the industrial estate,
then turn right into 2nd road (1st road is gated, then go to end on the left it;s sign will be Birkenhead Press not Countyvise
While there I think you'd like the book "Sidelights on Tranmere"
£4-95
