These are some lodge houses in the Noctorum area. If you look at these two houses, you will notice that they have a steeple or small steeple as part of the house. I have been told that originally they used to house bells in them when they were used by servants. The servants used to ring the bell when the carriage was ready for the owners of the estate/house to go out in.

nice homes, iv never seen small steeples on homes before or maybe i just havnt been looking, i will be taking more notice from now on!

There are alot of mansions and lodge houses in this area. Funnily, all the ones designed by Edmund Kirby dont have this steeple feature.
