There's a lot spread around on the internet (and some on this site)

Do a search for "ROF" or Royal Ordnance Factories.

There were three on the Wirral, ROFTEN (ROF number 10) at Hooton, another at Ellesmere Port and the elusive one at Capenhurst.

Liverpool had at least two, Cheadle had a massive one.
