Were can i find maps of Huyton area from like 15th century right up till now?

Picton Library (or one of the attached libraries) in Liverpool. Or the Liverpool Archives.

ahhh so what i do just go up to the liverpool libary & just ask if i can look at old maps? do you think id have to join up to the libary or anything...

Don't think the Picton is open at present and the archives have moved to a temporary location whilst a new facility is being created. You'd have to phone them in advance if you want anything.

I've uploaded one for you on the upload manager but don't know how to display it!! The earliest ones I have are 1850s, but can got these in v.good scale

The Archives for Knowsley District are at Huyton Library. They should have copies of most maps covering Huyton, but you're not going to find much available pre-19th century. Anything earlier would probably be in the form of estate maps, and they would be either at the Lancashire Record Office in Preston or the National Archives.
