My father-in-law lived at 42 George St,not far from Hamilton Square.They where a large family and was wondering if anyone can tell me what type of property it would have been.

I place No.42 about where the red X is. Looks like an ordinary terraced house, maybe 3 bedrooms, not more & probably 3 rooms downstairs. May have had a cellar.

Welcome. Interesting when you look at that map to see that George St. runs between two vacant lots which will contain the Sidney St. & Taylor St. Queensway ventilation buildings.
