No pics, i think i can remember four towers on the Woodchurch. I think there were 2 by Fender School, Grasswood gds, Fernybrow gds and 2 by Marian high school, Lucern gds and Leamington gds.

There are two that still stand, the ones by Fender Primary School, Grasswood & Fernybrow, and there was three by St Benedicts High School which where demolished late 90's early 2000.

I can't remember 3 by the school, hopefully someone can put a map up and put me out of my misery.

the school was called noctorum girls high school in 1962 and the three blocks of flats were Lucerne gardens Lynmouth gardens and lemington gardens. theyf are not there now ans the school changed names to marion high and then St benedicts. Thats gone now too/ the two blocks of flats by the ffender school were grasswood and ferny brow gardens. they are still there but are now sheltered housing. one block is called Flambards ( ex grasswood gardens )

That's a blast from the past. I didn't live too far from these flats in the 70s.

You now need a paid subscription to view images in the history section.
Well worth it if you like history.
