Nice pics. I havent been through there.
It's great going down hill but cripples me when I go up hill in that cutting.
I thought it was flat lol
I always love walking through the cutting, the Lees Lane end was filled in by the council. The only picture i can recall seeing is one taken from the bridge just before Neston station,(or where both used to be), quite a late on picture though showing a loco and coaches.

If there's a tunnel someone on Wiki will have a picture of it. :-)
If there is something of interest and we think hasn't been explored someone will come on with pictures and architects drawings plus letters from the builder and prices of installed material along with maps before and after and maps where it is today. :0)
very interesting link/ good read cheers mate.
I've some film of the "new" Wirral Way bridge on Burton Road being lifted into place a few years ago - can I embed youtube video on here ?
An old video of mine of the Burton Road Wirral Way footbridge being lifted into place - in April 2000.

Great vid, i stood and watched them putting it in place as well, but never had my camera (as usual).
Many a weekend i rode that part. Not changed it years.
Pity 12 years ago i never had a cam.
I used to live at 9 station road when the houses were brand new... it's nice to see some of what was there before
