I WORKED IN THE DUKE 1983/85 IN CORPORATION RD ENTRANCE IF YOU LOOKED UP THERE WAS A SQUARE PIECE OF GLASS BETWEEN FLOORS I ASKED THE LANDLORD WHY IT WAS THERE HE SAID THE PUB ONCE WAS A CUSTOM HOUSE AND THE GLASS REPLACED A TRAP DOOR FROM WERE HANGINGS IOOK PLACE CAN THIS BE FACT.WAS A PUB IN 1880? NEED HELP ON HISTORY PLEASE.

I know no history on this, but I know they use pulleys on hoops to lower beer barrels into the cellar.

cool picture mate,iv been trying to find a picture with the policeman in his traffic control box that stood in center of cross rd duke st corporation rd.still looking for history on pub its got to be out there.
