would like to thank les for all his hard work doing an almost impossible job.ive worked for and watched rovers for 57 years,also like to apologise to les for the so called fans who have shouted abuse at him,never thought we would have fans like them.pity we cant sack them,god help the next manager.a sad day for birkenhead.

at the end of the day les is good at his job and not a bad manager just a poorly helped one .if they gave him some money he could have done better,well done les for having a go .but bring back aldridge and les as physio

Sad that Les has been sacked. Hope tranmere offer him alternative position. He has been loyal to Rovers.

iff you say it should be on the sports thread ,you could say that about almost every subject.the rovers are a big part of birkenheads history.

Parry was an absolute joke as a manager. Nice guy, great Tranmere man but an truly awful manager. Thank God we have now got a proper manager in the shape of Ronnie Moore (who should never have been sacked in the first place imo) and the club can start to look forward again.

the only good parry did as manager was assemble a half decent squad!on the playing side of things he was very poor and strangled the life out of the team with negative tactics!he is NOT a manager,wish him luck in whatever he does next though.
