Fooooook! England are beating Tonga 19-10... having said that though, Johnny Wilkinson is back, they rely on him far far too much, when he is injured they are totally out of sorts.

He seems to inspire the whole team to play to their potential as well as win games. People say he is the only world class player England have nowadays, but I disagree, anyone who has ever seen Jason Robinson play (in either League or Union) will know that he is by far the best player in the current England squad, and one of the greatest players in the world.

But Wilkinson inspires and add confidence and morale. Id say its similar to Liverpool, where Robinson would be the Carragher of the squad, just gets on and does the job perfectly every time, and Wilkinson is the Gerrard, where he not only changes games on his own, but also has a massive effect when he is in the squad.

Place them both in the same team and you have potential World Cup winners. When Wilko is injured though, you have an average team haha! Its a shame Robinson is injured, I dont think he will be back in time to play again in the world cup?? I though it was just a hamstring injury but people are saying he may never play again...

got to agree mate seen him play league a few times and he a top player but johnny is still class but not played much due to being injured all the bloody time

Yeah Johnny is amazing of course, the one thing he has on his side is age, especially compared to a lot of the other experienced players in the England squad.

He will be at the next world cup for certain, as you say though, I just hope he can manage a few weeks without an injury haha!!

Final score - England 36 - 20 Tonga

Into the last eight of the World Cup now. Without Robinson though, even with Wilko back, I don't think they have the depth or pace to win again.

But not as bad as getting knocked out at the group stages lol.
