Selling this on behalf of my sister in law (I have the car, and all documentation)

A rare UK special Edition "GlenEagles" 1.8 Mk1 - 1 of 400 made.

This a lovely example of a UK Mk1, there is no rust on the arches and the bodywork overall is excelent! She has covered 89k miles, and has some service history and past MOTs. The car was originally supplied by a company "Supercar Classics" - a specialist MX5 dealer that doesnt deal in any old rubbish!

It has Tax and MOT until Feb 2012, and has just had a new set of rear brakes fitted. Also included is the hardtop, this is colour coded and has a heated rear element. It has some aftermarket 15" Alloys fitted, a Sony CD player and a Gemini Alarm / Immobiliser. Included on this special edition was a Gleneagles steering wheel, beige leather, wood trim with tartan gearstick gaitor, and the all important tartan booklet holder for all the cars documents.

The car has 2 keys and 2 fobs for the alarm / imobiliser and remote central locking. The car starts first time, everytime without fail. There are no untoward noises, no smoke, the car pulls cleanly and drives faultlessly.

The car is rust free, and the blue / green metalic special edition paintwork is nice and bright! Under the hardtop the folding roof is equally impressive. Its operation is smooth and easy, and the hood is free from rips and tears meaning it keeps all the water out!

Being picky, there are a couple of "bad bits"....

Obviously, it is a 15 year old car, so there are some very minor marks on the paint, but these arent noticable until very close. A Small area of laquer has come off the wood in the center console and the gearstick gaitor is showing some wear - not bad for a 15 year old car! Im sure this is one of the best Mk1's out there, and if you are after a reliable, tidy and unmolestered MX5 this is the car for you - viewing is essential to appreciate the condition of this little Mazda, and Im sure the first to come and see it, will buy it!

£2000 or reasonable offers! (Will also listen to offers without the hardtop)
