For sale, my Slik Black Diamond tripod. It's hollow aluminium so is extremely light for its size. It can be posed in a number of configurations as can be seen in the Pics. It also has the benefit of screw in spiked feet for extra grip on rough ground or rubber feet if your at home. It comes complete with the quick release button on the head of the tripod, if you had to buy this separately it would cost 8 quid on its own. A great Pro tripod but I've just been given a Manfrotto. A steal at £20.00. It won't last long at that price Give us a PM

could you mount a .50 cal on it?

suppose you could with the right bracket. I've also got a black diamond without the button for £15.00

Is it sturdy and heavy enough to safely hold DSLR and Long lens?

Oh yes, light but extremely sturdy, I've been using my Nikon on it with a 70-300 no probs. Google it for info.
