Hi let me tell you what i know about this rug, it might be a long shot putting it on here but its going to go on ebay soon if i get no interest.
its a hand made carpet made in India during the second half of the last century. The designs are based upon a mixture of both oriental (mostly Persian) and European adaptations of design repertoire. It measures 12ft x 9ft and was VERY expensive years ago, its in great condition would benefit from a bit of a clean but i will try an do that before it goes.

it is indeed, theres one similar brand new for £3600 so its not a cheap rug and cost about 2k back in the 80's so am not trying to rip anyone off, some persian rugs are worth alot of money. Its also made by a company called hills and co
