some of you may know that my daughter threw my IPhone down the toilet 2weeks ago.

Well my brand new replacement has arrived and ready to go. I have not taken off the sticker cover or registered it. its literally brand spankers! all I have done is put it on charge for the new owner (YOU) . I can include a mirror screen protector (and fit it if you want).

these go for £300 on fleabay so its fair to offer it here to wiki residents for £265

is there much diffrent between this one the 3g and 3gs?

3gs has a faster CPU (so everything runs a bit smoother) which is the main different, think it also has slightly better battery life and an inbuilt compass, but in reality, nope, there isnt a lot of difference, the 3gs was just a stepping stone to the 4g, and an attempt to "keep up" with the bashing the iPhone was getting against Palm Pre in the US, especially with regards speed/smoothness.

I doubt the avrage user would notice any real difference between the two, and I "think" iOS4 is to be released for the 3g, but someone would need to confirm that, as im not an Apple fanboy lol.

Apple iOS4 is for iPhone 3G 3GS & 4.

BUT, the iPhone 3G DOESN'T support the new multi-tasking feature that iOS4 introduces.

3G users will be able to use iOS4 but without this multi-task feature

ah its not worth paying the extra money for then really specially since its an extra £100 for the 3gs.
