Hi all: I have a black Vauxhall Vectra 2.2 sxi on a 03 plate.
This vehicle does have a gearbox problem as listed previously.
There is no tax nor m.o.t and the guy who owns it is asking £500:00 for it. It's a nice car for anyone who has the time to sort it.

hi its done 61 thousand and the fault anti freeze leaked from engine into the g/box making it useless apparently it's a common fault

a quick update on the vectra gearbox i tried it yesterday and the car went and moved in reverse and also in drive then reverse again and then forwards now nothing again. so At least we know car can drive.

TBH it think its worth giving it a good fluid change with the correct fluid before righting the box off.
