know bud its not... as far as i know The only 360s that have HDMI are the Arcade, Elite, and Halo Special Edition.. If you hookup your TV with component video (red, blue, green cables) you can still get up to 1080p (if you TV supports it) and it will still look very good... just not as good as HDMI.

becareful with the core unit, they are very prone to hardware failure (a.k.a the red ring of death.

I thought all models now had HDMI.

orignally it was only avalable on the Elite until 2007 where they discontinued the core unit and replaced it with the arcade which comes with the HDMI Port, at the same time the Pro models were also upgraded with the HDMI Port.

Id love to buy this, but this is precisely why I can't be arsed with modern-day consoles such as the PS3 and Xbox - they are making too many variants of them, and confusing matters/trying to sting more money out of people for upgrades etc...

The whole idea of a console vs a PC is that you are supposed to have one system, and one system alone, with everything, so everyone has an equal experience. Its easier to just have a gaming rig and upgrade the GPU every 2 years nowadays.

not to mention they try to be multimedia machines (like DVD and blu ray player's) music players, ect... thats why i love the wii, small, simple and doesnt try to be everything, example's of multimedia consoles are the Phillips CD-I and Commodore CDTV.
